Happy March 2009!!
Wow, it's been a while since I've posted!! Thank you Gram for encouraging me to update!! Much has occurred since December's last photo update. Many missing teeth, much less snow, many more in our home, 2 more dogs, and even one birthday!
Starting with the missing teeth...Taylor is missing his two front teeth! Aside from the obvious change in his appearance, his speech has also changed. It's been very cute, somewhat annoying to him, but fun to watch him though. Relearning to speak clearly was his challenge. ;0) It's been so much fun to watch him "grow up" with the newly arriving "big boy" teeth! Myah was next to have a wiggly tooth which was on the bottom, so Taylor asked her if she would like to have him assist in the removal. She eagerly approved; one little yank from her big brother and the tooth was out! So needless to say, the tooth fairy has visited the Young household often since December!
The snow is melting...yes melting quickly!! We all are so very ready for spring to arrive! From mud, to soaking snowsuits, to never ending mopping/vacuuming floors from wet dogs...yes, very ready for spring to arrive and end the mud season of 2009!
As for the new additions to our family, well we have had house guests since Feb 5th. Christina, Eric, beautiful baby Hannah and their two dogs are living with us. Kris and Eric finished our extra bedroom in our basement so C and E have their own private space. We've had many late nights talking, laughing and watching American Idol. They will soon welcome a brand new baby too...a little boy! We are all very excited and eagerly awaiting his arrival. So, we may have a newborn in our home as well!! This new little blessing is due to make his arrival in the beginning of May. I'll keep you updated on his arrival!
Myah turned 6 on March 5th with a Hello Kitty party!! From a pink pinata, to My Little Ponies galore, it was such a blessing to watch her enjoy her special day!! I think that sums up the past 3 months...here are some pictures; enjoy!!

Halloween 2008
Well, we've started a new tradition...trick or treating at the Power House Mall; then to Lui Lui's for dinner. This year we met up with the Sayers, as you can see below. It was so much fun!! Adelyn Sayers is staying with us for a little while, so on the way home from the PH Mall, Kris and I surprised all five kids and took them to the little housing development in Quechee near their school. We took them around, (our first time doing the door to door thing), they had so much fun! Everyone was so generous!! We now have a GIGANTIC bowl of candy sitting on our kitchen island. So far the self control has remained strong...but I don't know how long I can hold out. ;0) Here are a few pictures of our fun night!

Adoption day has finally arrived!!
Myah Hope Young is now officially our daughter!! What a blessing to finally give her permanency and closure. God is so good! Here are a few pictures of the adoption, and our mini celebration afterwards, due to Taylor having pneumonia! We are going to have a big party once everyone is healthy!

Indiana Kolby?
Hmmm...a glove on one hand, a sock on the other...where does he get this from? Not to mention the shades and hat. What can I say...he marches to his own drumbeat just like his mama!

The boys new soft blankies!
Here are the boys new blankets that I found for a great deal!! They have been wanting new "soft" blankies...so they were soooo excited to receive these! Taylor's is a frog, Kayden's a cow, and Kolby's is a shark. So cute! Kayden's even has a tail!!
